Manufactures Warranty Information

Most parts sold at Barrco Automotive are covered under a manufacturers warranty. For specific cases you should contact the parts counter or the individual manufacturer to determine if your part is still covered under warranty.

Manufacturers Warranties FAQ

Q: I lost my receipt can I still use my warranty?

A: No, receipts are required for all warranty claims.

Q: I warrantied my part once is the replacement covered under warranty?

A: Most parts warranties only cover one free replacement, in cases where multiple replacements are covered the warranty period continues from the original purchase date of the first part.

Q: I didn't purchase my part at barrco, but it's covered under warranty, will barrco replace it?

A: Barrco will only honor warranties on parts purchased through barrco automotive.

Q: I need to warranty my part but it's still installed on my car what should I do?

A: In cases where a warranty claim needs to be made while the part is still installed, the replacement part would need to be purchased and a refund will be issued when we receive the defective part and verify the claim.

Q: My part has a limited warranty, what does limited mean?

A: To avoid frivolous claims manufactures will often only warranty a part if the issue falls into a predetermined list of defects. Things that would not typically be covered under a limited warranty would include, improper installation, improper fitment, or regular wear and tear of the part.

Q: I have more questions about my warranty where can I get more information?

A: For general warranty questions you can contact our parts counter. For more specific questions on a manufactures warranty you should contact the manufacturer for details.
